Rafna Transition to G & B Product Line

Global Railway Industries Ltd. is a consolidator of railway equipment manufacturers. Through our acquisitions of Rafna and G & B Specialties we have determined the synergies of the two plants.  We believe that the merger will be beneficial to our customers in many ways.

ØThis move will enable us to maintain costs.  In an increasingly competitive market we are striving to do everything possible to maintain pricing for our customers.  This will be accomplished through overhead reductions, purchasing consolidation, and plant machinery utilization.

ØThis move will enhance the quality control processes of railgear.  This will be accomplished due to the fact that G & B’s QA team has many years experience and is certified to M-1003 which is an AAR spec.

ØManagement and employee resources are much greater which will allow us to better service our customers.  We will retain several key management personnel from Rafna, which will allow this transition to be seamless to all our customers.

ØManufacturing space at G & B consists of 110,000 square feet plus 6,000 square feet of administrative offices with an additional 2,000 square feet engineering offices.  Our plant operates three shifts a day.  We have both space and resources for future growth as we gain market shares in railgear.

ØWe will reduce the turnaround on both complete units and parts business.  This will be due to enhanced inventory control processes with the utilization of our MRP system and increased inventory capacity.

ØG & B Specialties has a complete ERP system in place which has a proven track record for improving the planning abilities and overall flow of products through our manufacturing facilities.
